The Autoglym Clay Detailing Complete Kit is a professional-grade surface preparation system designed to remove bonded contaminants that regular washing cannot touch. Together they safely remove industrial fallout, tree sap, embedded brake dust and other stubborn contaminants from paintwork, glass and wheels, leaving surfaces perfectly smooth and ready for polishing and long-lasting protection.

How to Use

Ensure the vehicle is thoroughly washed and cool to the touch. Working on a small area at a time, spray Autoglym Rapid Detailer liberally onto the surface. Gently glide the clay bar across the lubricated area using light, straight-line motions. As resistance decreases and the surface feels smoother, wipe away any remaining residue with a clean microfibre cloth. Repeat this process over the entire vehicle, folding and kneading the clay frequently to expose a clean face.

Once claying is complete, polish and protect the surface with Autoglym Super Resin Polish followed by your chosen wax or sealant, such as Autoglym High Definition Wax, for maximum gloss and durability. Clay bar treatment is typically required 2–4 times per year depending on driving environment and contamination levels. The clay can be reused until it becomes heavily soiled; always discard if dropped on the ground.
