Restored Headlight Clear Coat

Specialist clear lacquer designed as the final stage in headlight restoration. Replaces the removed, weathered top layer and seals the lens with a durable, chip-resistant, UV-stable coating. Creates a long-lasting, water-tight barrier that restores clarity and helps prevent future yellowing and haze.

Important

Use only on plastic/polycarbonate headlight lenses that have been fully restored to a clear state. Apply as the final step to seal and protect the exposed lens surface.

Preparation

• After final polishing, wash the lens to remove all polish, wax, dust, and dirt; dry completely.
• Mask surrounding areas to prevent overspray.
• Ensure can temperature is approximately 15–25 °C and work in a warm, dry, dust-free, well-ventilated area.
• Do not spray in cold, damp, or humid conditions.
• If provided, open the prep sachet and wipe the lenses (one side per lens) to remove any residue or fingerprints.
• Shake the can vigorously for 2 minutes before spraying.

Application

• Hold the can 20–30 cm (8–12") from the surface.
• Spray using smooth, side-to-side passes, avoiding runs or heavy build-up.
• Apply thin, even coats, allowing 3–4 minutes between coats.
• Shake the can briefly between coats to maintain consistency.
• After the final coat, allow the surface to become tack-free (~1 hour) and fully hardened (~4 hours).
• Do not drive during drying. Avoid washing the vehicle for 24 hours.
• Always read and follow the full product label before use.
