Designed for testing methanol and ethylene glycol antifreeze mixtures in vehicle cooling systems. Features dual green and white scales for accurate measurement in hot or cold engines. The tester measures the density of the water/antifreeze mixture to determine frost protection levels. Constructed with a durable glass tube, PVC bulb, and spout for reliable workshop use.

Important Notes

Remove protective packing before use and ensure the weighted end of the float (with granules) is nearest to the inlet/outlet nozzle. Although more accurate when the engine is hot, always allow a minimum of 30 minutes after switch-off before removing the radiator cap to avoid injury.
